What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRO Accounts Payable Specialist position at O'Reilly Automotive Stores?
Primary Responsibilities include coding and sorting MRO invoices for approval. Getting proper signatures for invoices. Research pricing and receiving discrepancies for DC inventory. Reconcile invoice discrepancies for MRO suppliers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Verify Coding and send for approvals as needed
Ensure all invoices have proper approval
Research invoice and pricing discrepancies
Reconcile MRO invoices for payment and reconcile supplier statements
Review and resolve supplier chargebacks
Reconcile statements to assure accounts are in good standing
Review statements to assure all credits and invoices are being received and processed
Work closely with suppliers in regards to invoice discrepancies
Research past due invoices based on monthly statements
Work with receiving departments to verify receipts
All other duties as assigned
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
General clerical skills (filing, phone, printer, fax)
Ability to efficiently reconcile numbers
Effective problem solving and reasoning skills
Good organization and follow up skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, keyboard, 10-key)
Basic math skills
Desired:
Intermediate Excel Skills
Some knowledge of Supply Chain
Previous experience in an office setting
Previous accounts payable experience
