Commercial Flooring Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials across commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help transform spaces with durable, aesthetically pleasing flooring solutions, contributing to the success of large-scale remodeling and restoration projects. Duties

• Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation by reading blueprints, schematics, and schematics to ensure precise placement.
• Install various flooring materials such as tile, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and carpet using hand tools and power tools with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform surface preparation tasks including concrete finishing, floor leveling, water damage restoration, and floor care to create optimal conditions for installation.
• Execute trim carpentry, caulking, fixture installation, cabinet installation, and remodeling tasks as needed to complete comprehensive flooring projects.
• Use carpentry skills for cutting, fitting, and finishing flooring materials; apply floor care techniques such as buffing and sealing for a polished look.
• Conduct restoration work involving water damage repair, construction painting, and general handyman tasks to support ongoing project needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols on construction sites and properly handling tools such as hand tools and power tools.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating and working on commercial construction sites with a focus on flooring installation.
• Strong background in floor laying, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration industry practices.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams relevant to flooring projects.
• Knowledge of construction site safety procedures combined with practical experience using hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while managing multiple project phases efficiently.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
