Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory principles, and specific application requirements.
- Perform residential painting tasks on interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, and industrial coatings.
- Execute renovation projects by restoring or remodeling existing structures with attention to detail in fixture installation, framing, drywall finishing, and masonry work.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste disposal of materials like plaster or stucco residues while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with a solid understanding of construction site safety standards.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution; familiarity with schematics related to renovation or restoration projects is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes; power tools including spray guns (airless), sanders; and specialized equipment like scaffolding or lifts.
- Familiarity with maintenance tasks related to building upkeep; handyman experience is advantageous for versatile project support.
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
