WHAT YOU WILL DO .
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, while supporting the priorities of the firms business developers and principal leadership, the Proposal & Marketing Specialist will be part of a collaborative team that works together to achieve the firms goals.
RFQs and proposals are the primary focus of this role. You will collaborate in the coordination, development and production of high-quality responses from start to finish.
- Track leads and pursuits; share information necessary for Go/No-Go discussion
- Create proposal plans/outlines
- Coordinate and attend RFQ kick-off calls
- Participate in pursuit strategy discussions and messaging development
- Help identify opportunities to strengthen proposal content and processes
- Request and collect materials needed from consultants
- Pro-actively compile answers and information to produce RFQ drafts; lead page-turn reviews
- Incorporate edits provided by leadership
- Finalize content and layout to ensure completion of proposal(s) by established deadline(s)
- Engage in best practices for quality review, timely production and proposal close-out
Other Communications and PR support responsibilities include:
- Develop and produce communications and marketing materials within corporate standards in written and presentation format to meet marketing objectives
- Support design, layout, and production of communications and marketing materials including content development, graphics, qualifications and presentation materials, digital media, brochures, award entries and advertisements
- Engage in the strategic development of and participate in the firms online social presence including the website, LinkedIn and other platforms
- Join regular marketing and business development team meetings as applicable
- Champion the firms brand and brand standards
- Coordinate and participate in development of materials for tradeshows and conferences
- Help plan events in support of client engagement and project promotion
- Assist in coordination of photo shoots
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Were looking for passionate, detail-oriented self-starters. Beyond that, youll need
- 4-5( ) years in marketing and proposal development experience
- Bachelors degree in relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Exemplary commitment to quality
- Strategic and critical thinking
- Proficiency in InDesign (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office preferable)
