Our progressive Architecture Team in Houston, TX seeks talented Higher Education Practice Leader. Practice Leaders have a passion for designing Higher Education environments, finding the Mission for each client. Whether the project is small or large a candidate will thrive on creating solutions that make these spaces better for the people who occupy them.

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO .
- Collaborate on Higher Education projects
- Concept to complete construction documents
- Document design work from design presentation to construction documents
- Develop and maintain effective verbal, graphic, and written communication with clients that support positive, long-term relationships.
- Assist in the creation and continued development of design concepts through all phases of design.
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR NEW ROLE
Were looking for passionate, driven self-starters. Beyond that, youll need
- Deep Higher Education Building Design experience is a must
- Professional degree in Architecture, Design, or related field required; masters degree a plus
- 15 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of the design process
- Ability to work through fast paced projects
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
- General knowledge of materials and products relevant to project work
- Independent problem-solving
- Advanced technical skills in relevant software programs.
- Ability to project a professional presence and demeanor
- Ability to work in a highly visible, team-oriented environment
- Collaborate with in house teams across our three offices
- Proficient in: Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Revit and Adobe Suite
- Other preferred knowledge: Newforma Project Center, Sketchup and MS Office 365
