Machinist
Department: Manufacturing
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay type: Hourly
We are looking for a Machinist who is highly motivated and a great team player. This position may require overtime and weekends.
The following skills are required:
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures, including PPE and 5S.
- Manual and CNC machine experience including Mills, Lathes, waterjet, and EDM’s
- Ability to read tool sheets, edit NC programs and perform CNC machine set ups.
- Able to determine tooling and operation requirements for all Machined parts.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including positive attitude, self-motivator, contributes to a team environment and personal accountability.
- CNC machining and programming.
The following skills would be helpful:
- Ability to perform and thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
- Must be comfortable with computer basics.
- Experience on the Following: Wire EDM, Plunge EDM, Heidenhain Controls, Heat Treating, surface grinding, and welding.
Education and or Experience:
- Completed a Technical training program.
- 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Concepts.
Schedule:
- Onsite Monday - Friday. (May also require overtime and weekends.)
