The Opportunity
First and foremost, this is a leadership role for a strategic and innovative technology leader as OCCU embarks on a long-term growth strategy. The Chief Information Officer will be tasked with furthering the Credit Union’s overall technology improvement and solutions philosophy and defining the strategy for continuous technological innovation in a way that drives significant value. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Chief Information Officer will use a proactive and practical approach to ensure the alignment of the technology vision with business strategy. This leader will also play a highly influential role in driving the elements of technology innovation and solutions strategy development and execution. The successful candidate must contribute strategic vision, ensure tactical and data-driven execution, and provide the leadership necessary to support and enhance the Credit Union’s mission and trajectory.

Professional Experience Qualifications
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience leading technology innovation in financial services organizations of scale.
- Strong management acumen and a proven track record of serving as a change agent by formulating and executing growth-oriented strategic plans that drive exceptional performance.
- Thorough understanding of state and federal regulations.
- Expert skillset in core IT/infrastructure, security, network, and application support.
- Deep knowledge of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and fintech integrations.

Education Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, etc., preferred
- Applicable certification(s) in IT, Information Security, Cloud, etc., preferred

- Final offers based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The range for the VP Digital Marketing role is $257,000 - $400,000.
