About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned construction professional to serve as a General Foreman, a key field leader responsible for driving the successful execution of finish carpentry operations. We are looking for a mentor and strategist who excels at elevating field performance by training crews, standardizing workflows, and ensuring our teams operate safely and efficiently.
From mobilization through final close-out, you will be the primary point of contact for field staff and trade partners, serving as the bridge between project management and high-level production.
Responsibilities
- Train, mentor, and develop field personnel to improve technical skills, efficiency, and consistency across all teams.
- Plan and manage daily/weekly field schedules to meet project milestones and maintain a productive pace.
- Provide hands-on technical direction and problem-solving in the field to ensure work meets our high standards for quality and speed.
- Implement and enforce safe work practices in compliance with federal, state, and company standards.
- Proactively communicate needs for materials, equipment, and manpower to ensure steady production.
- Produce daily progress updates and weekly look-ahead reports; collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers on sequencing and issue resolution.
- Foster positive relationships with other trades and site teams, promoting company values and a strong work ethic.
- Work in adverse weather conditions without temperature or other environmental controls and subject to ambient weather conditions.
- Communicate in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain good attendance.
- Communicate and uphold the Company's commitment to core values, Integrity, and Code of Ethics, and ensure the same for the entire team.

Qualifications & Abilities:
- Minimum of 8 years experience in the construction field. Preferred expertise in finish carpentry, trim installation, or high-skill scopes.
- Proven experience directing and developing field crews as a Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor the performance of carpenters and laborers with varying skill levels.
- Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong communications kills with a solution driven attitude.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to perform very heavy work -- routinely lifts 25-75 lbs., occasionally lift 76 lbs. to greater than 100 lbs.
- Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion also required.
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work overtime, if necessary.
