Duties Description
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives a variety of motor vehicles both on and off State property in order to transport people, material, and equipment as required, and plow snow from roadways and parking lots. May map routes, itineraries, and points of call. Moves or carries cargo onto, into, off of, or out of the vehicle operated. Moves or caries cargo from the vehicle to the delivery or storage point. Posts manifests, inventories, and other records of goods and people transported.
May operate and maintain motorized equipment in support of maintenance, grounds or building trades crews.

Minimum Qualifications
Non-Competitive: Candidates must possess a New York State Driver’s License appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated. Candidates may be required to possess a CDL Class A, B, C or General Class D license.
Additional Comments
° Thirteen (13) days of paid vacation leave initially.
° Five (5) days paid personal leave each year.
° Thirteen (13) days of paid sick leave each year (PEF/CSEA), which may carry over from year to year.
° Up to three (3) days professional leave each year to participate in professional development events.

- Storeroom duties include but not limited to receive dock deliveries daily, assist agency employees with furniture requests, maintain organization in Stores.
- Mailroom duties include sort, deliver mail across OPWDD campus daily, review, research mail pieces, review Storeroom mailbox for supply requests daily, deliver supplies as needed. In addition, bi-weekly courier runs to Troy, Glens Falls, Saratoga Springs, and Adirondack Clinic in Corinth.
