Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for outdoor work and have a solid understanding of various landscaping techniques. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticulture, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are beautifully maintained and functional.

THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN SUFFOLK COUNTY - RONKONKOMA NEW YORK

NO OUT OF STATE - LONG ISLAND LOCATION ONLY - SUFFOLK ONLY

Duties

• Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Participate in hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as needed.
• Engage in snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access to properties.
• Collaborate with team members on larger landscaping projects, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment including excavators.
• Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with gardening practices and horticulture principles is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of snow plowing techniques is a plus during winter months.
• A valid driver's license may be required

• Driving in a company work vehicle from site to site

Compensation: HOURLY/PAID WEEKLY EVERY FRIDAY - Rate depends on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
