NYCOA is seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist to support the day-to-day human resources operations at its Manchester, New Hampshire, facility. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies and resolving workplace concerns.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting roles, screening candidates, and supporting a smooth onboarding experience.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Administer employee benefits and support payroll processes to ensure accuracy in compensation and leave tracking.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- PHR or SHRM-CP is highly desirable.
- 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration, required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (Paychex required, ADP a plus) and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
