Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position that can lead to a Financial Advisor role once you complete the required certifications. You start as an agent, move to a financial representative and if you desire a financial advisor role. This position is based in Sandy, UT, where you can use your entrepreneurial spirit to run your own practice with oversight, direction, and mentoring by your partner.
New York Life prides itself in developing you to be the best you can be; you just have to put in the effort. Therefore, the office will provide training and development tools designed by the Harvard Business School that will assist you in learning how to make your business a success.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, providing financial products and insurance solutions, while achieving sales goals. Daily tasks include consulting with clients to identify their financial, retirement, and insurance needs, recommending tailored solutions, and delivering excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include participating in training programs and staying updated on industry trends and compliance regulations.

Qualifications
You must be a US Citizen, as this position is tied to the financial industry, which is highly regulated.
You should also have the following:
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, and willing to engage clients effectively
- Ability to learn how to meet performance targets in a results-driven environment
- Willingness to obtain the Knowledge of Insurance products and financial planning principles to advise clients on proper solutions that complement their goals
- Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing Training opportunities
- Self-motivation, organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset
- No degree required, but relevant experience will be considered
- Licensing for insurance or financial products is a plus but not required; however, you must be willing to obtain the needed licenses as required
