Role Description
The Automotive Controller will oversee and manage the financial operations of the dealership, providing strategic financial insights and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing budgets, performing audits, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role also involves cost analysis, cash flow management, supervising accounting staff, and working closely with department managers to improve financial performance. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Killeen, TX.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost analysis, and cash flow management
- Ability to manage teams, supervise accounting staff, and coordinate across departments
- Experience with dealership management systems and automotive financial processes
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable
