Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial management efforts. In this vital role, you will oversee all accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive accurate financial reporting. Your expertise will support strategic decision-making and promote the financial health of our organization.

Duties

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Lead the preparation of financial reports, statements, and regulatory filings with clarity and precision.
• Oversee cash management activities, including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and banking relationships.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance, IFRS standards, governmental accounting practices, and non-profit accounting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial report writing.
• Hands-on experience with financial management software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and experience managing accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with a solid understanding of technical accounting principles such as GAAP and regulatory standards. Pay: $71,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
