100 year old manufacturing firm has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to take the lead in end to end supply chain operations. Oversee procurement, planning, inventory control and logistics. You will work with other departments to help maintain and improve production while maintaining quality and value with an eye on continuous improvement. Duties:
- Develop supply chain strategies
- Work with other leaders to contribute insights from a supply chain point of view
- Sourcing raw materials, components and indirect service while building strong vendor relations
- Oversee demand planning and forcasting
- Oversee master scheduling and other planning
- Create and implement inventory strategies
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics and transportation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business or related disciplines
- APICS, ASCM, ISM, Six Sigma or other certification a plus
- 7 years of hands on supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years in a leadership role overseeing teams and supply chain operations
- Proficient computer skills and ERP/MRP skills including Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs
- Change management
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written as well as presentation skills
