We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented International Shipper / Manufacturing Assistant for a great manufacturing company in Brooklyn Park, MN. This is a hands-on role supporting the shipping department while also assisting production with deburring, assembly, inspection, and packaging of precision machined metal components.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable cross-training between departments.
Position: International Shipper / Manufacturing Assistant
Pay: $23–$28/hr.
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift | Flexible Start Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare domestic and international shipments, including packaging and shipping documentation
- Pick, pack, label, and organize parts for shipment
- Support shipping and receiving activities and inventory movement
- Assist production departments with deburring, assembly, inspection, and packaging of machined metal parts
- Use pneumatic and manual hand tools to assemble/deburr components
- Demagnetize, wash, and prepare metal parts prior to shipment
- Process work orders and track time/material using barcode scanning systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Cross-train and assist other departments as needed
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing and/or shipping experience preferred
- International shipping experience
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to help across departments
- Basic computer and barcode scanning experience preferred
