We are seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at NYCMC. In this role, you will provide specialized care in dermatology, focusing on patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations in dermatology.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Utilize Epic for patient documentation and management.
- Monitor vital signs and ensure comprehensive care during patient visits.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients on skin health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license with a focus on dermatology preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
- Familiarity with electronic health records, particularly Epic, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
