Job Overview
We are a family owned healthcare provider specializing in pain management services. Our team is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients dealing with acute and chronic pain conditions. We are seeking compassionate Nurse Practitioners to join our dynamic team. As a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with pain-related conditions. You will collaborate closely with our team of MDs, NPs and licensed medical massage therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations focused on pain evaluation, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement evidence-based pain management treatment plans.
- Perform interventional procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, and nerve blocks as needed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families about pain management strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in pain management.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) by a recognized national certifying body (ANCC, AANP).
- Proficiency in performing interventional pain procedures is a plus.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in pain management or related field preferred, however, we are willing to train new graduates.
Hourly Salary Range: $60-$95 per hour depending on experience
