What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare assistant teacher position at NYC DOE NYCEE - The Learning Experience?
We are looking for a flexible, dynamic individual who loves children to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Support lead teachers during learning activities
- Assist with any students that require extra guidance and redirection
- Sweep, wipe down tables, general cleaning duties
- Cover lunch breaks in the classroom
- Interact and engage with students (Infants to Pre-K)
- Communicate with parents/guardians about their child's day
Required Skills/Experience:
- Some experience working with children
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Punctual
- Hard-working
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
