What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Assistant position at Licensed Child Daycare?
Full time/ Part time positions are available:
Salary will be based on Experience of the candidate.
Applicants must live in the Bronx. Must love children be energetic, work well under pressure, be able to multitask, must be a team player, be willing to bring new creative and enjoyable ideas to the classroom. Must be reliable, patient, and punctual.
experience working with children 6weeks to 12 years old is a plus ( but we are willing to train the right candidate that is will to learn)
Requirements :
Fingerprinting, Medicals, State Central Register ( SCR) clearance First Aid and CPR certificate, 3 personal references, must take 15 hours or more of online classes for children Certification. (we will assist you min obtaining you certification once hired)
Responsibilities
Working with 12 children ages 6weeks - 12 years old.
Able to teach regular actives, be creative with arts and crafts.
keep children engaged at all times making sure the children are safe and well cared for.
Serve food to children.
Aid children in potting ,toilet training, diapering and hand washing.
Cleaning up after children maintaining a clean and organized environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
