Location: Suffolk County, NY
Hours: 4/10hr shifts between 7am-7pm

Starting Salary: $42.42 per hour, based on experience and certifications.

Job Description
Ultrasound Technologist- Float
Location: Suffolk County, NY
Hours: 4/10hr shifts between 7am-7pm
Organization: New York Imaging
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac and small parts in an outpatient setting.
- Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists / cardiologists.
- Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance.
- Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited.
- Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.
- Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
- Must be willing and able to float throughout Suffolk County locations
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
- RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required.
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- RDCS/Echo experience is a plus.
Starting Salary: $42.42 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
