Job Description
Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Hewlett/Forest Hills, NY
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm (Mon-Thu Hewlett/Fri Forest Hills)

In This Role, You Will
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac and small parts in an outpatient setting.
- Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists / cardiologists.
- Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance.
- Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited.
- Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.
- Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
- RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required.
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- RDCS/Echo experience is a plus.
- Starting Salary: Up to $60.94 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
- Benefits: Health Insurance on day 1, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO, 8 paid holidays (2 floating), and more.
- Hours: Ranging from Monday–Saturday.
