The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for caregivers, ensuring all required documentation, training, and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time. This role plays a critical part in preparing caregivers to deliver safe, high-quality care while meeting regulatory and agency standards. SPANISH SPEAKING REQUIRED
Duties
- Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for caregivers (HHAs, PCAs, etc.)
- Background checks
- TB tests, immunizations, and health screenings
- I-9 and employment eligibility forms
- Ensure caregivers meet all state, agency, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Schedule and track completion of required orientation and training programs
- Communicate onboarding steps, deadlines, and expectations clearly to caregivers
- Follow up consistently to obtain missing or incomplete onboarding items
- Maintain accurate and confidential caregiver records in HRIS or onboarding systems
- Monitor onboarding timelines to support timely caregiver placement
- Identify onboarding delays or compliance issues and escalate as needed
- Support continuous improvement of caregiver onboarding processes
