Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Rubrik L3 Engineer to provide advanced administration, support, troubleshooting, and engineering expertise for the Rubrik Data Protection platform. The resource will serve as the highest technical escalation point for Rubrik-related incidents, ensuring reliable backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities across the enterprise environment.
Location: New Jersey (Onsite 3 days/week)
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and support Rubrik clusters and Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC).
Configure and manage SLA Domains, backup schedules, retention policies, replication, and archival settings.
Monitor backup infrastructure health and proactively address performance and capacity issues.
Perform and support file, VM, database, and application-level recovery operations.
Troubleshoot complex backup, restore, replication, archival, and cluster-related issues.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and recommend permanent resolutions.
Manage backup compliance requirements and ensure adherence to enterprise data protection policies.
Support cyber recovery, immutable backup, and ransomware recovery capabilities within Rubrik.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and recovery validation exercises.
Work with Rubrik Support for product escalations, upgrades, and critical incident resolution.
Prepare operational documentation, knowledge articles, and technical runbooks.
Lead Rubrik platform upgrades, patching, maintenance activities, and best-practice implementations.
Mentor L1 and L2 support teams on Rubrik administration and troubleshooting.

Experience leading Rubrik implementation, migration, upgrade, and optimization projects.
Preferred Certification
Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator (RCSA)
Rubrik Certified Support Engineer (RCSE)
Rubrik Certified Cloud Specialist (RCCS)
