LOCATION:
Yamhill County, OR
SALARY:
$85,000 annually, depending on experience
SCHEDULE:
Full-Time, Direct Hire
Weekly Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Onsite)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns of varying complexity
- Review financial data and make adjusting entries to complete trial balances
- Perform financial statement analysis to summarize current and projected financial positions
- Generate individual tax projections using professional tax software
- Maintain regular client communication and support tax-related questions and concerns
- Supervise and review work from interns and junior staff
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience in public accounting
- Proven ability to conduct 1st review of moderately complex tax returns
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Lacerte and QuickBooks preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The position performs general office duties in a professional office setting with standard working conditions. Minimal physical effort is required beyond working at a desk and using a computer.
