Bookkeeper | Accounting & Financial Reporting

LOCATION: Milwaukie, Oregon
SALARY: up to $35 an hour
SCHEDULE: Full-time

• Opportunity to oversee all financial activities and accounting processes
• Exposure to financial reporting, analysis, payroll, and compliance functions
• Direct collaboration with parent company departments including HR and Accounts Receivable
• Ability to take ownership of process improvements and internal controls
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
• Prepare financial reports and perform financial analysis
• Reconcile bank accounts and make bank deposits
• Oversee all financial activities and ensure proper internal controls
• Set up new customers and manage collections activities
• Update procedures and document internal controls for compliance
• Support and respond to internal and external audits
• Manage periodic sales and financial reporting
• Approve ADP payroll and coordinate with Human Resources
• Maintain confidential financial communications and sign legal documents as required
• Participate in monthly safety committee meetings
• Collaborate with finance, HR, sales, customer service, and parent company departments
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting or similar role
• Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements
• Proficiency with computers and accounting systems
• Ability to analyze financial information and resolve issues
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Office-based role requiring extended computer use and standard administrative tasks
