We are seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent / Field Operations Coordinator to join a growing luxury residential construction team specializing in high-end custom homes throughout Northern Virginia.
This exciting opportunity offers hands-on mentorship from an experienced Senior Superintendent, exposure to multiple custom home projects, and the potential to advance into independently managing residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and attend construction inspections, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Monitor job site conditions, erosion controls, construction quality, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate with inspectors and subcontractors to resolve routine field issues.
- Conduct site visits to completed homes, investigate warranty concerns, and coordinate repairs.
- Assist with material deliveries, equipment logistics, and daily field operations.
- Support the Senior Superintendent in overseeing multiple residential construction projects throughout Northern Virginia.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of residential construction experience preferred, ideally in custom or luxury homebuilding.
- Working knowledge of construction methods, inspections, materials, and job site operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple job sites and work effectively with subcontractors, inspectors, and homeowners.
- Dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a leadership role.
- No college degree required! Candidates with strong practical construction skills and growth potential are encouraged to apply.
Relevant Experience Includes: Assistant Superintendent, Field Coordinator, Construction Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Residential Warranty Technician, or similar hands-on construction roles.
