Role Description This full-time, on-site Sr Electrical Engineer role is located in Diamondhead, MS. The Sr Electrical Engineer will design, analyze, and validate electrical systems and components, with an emphasis on power distribution and power systems for demanding environments. Daily responsibilities include developing detailed electrical schematics and documentation, performing calculations and simulations, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting project planning and execution, troubleshooting electrical issues, and providing technical guidance to junior team members. The engineer may also participate in design reviews, customer meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives for NVision’s engineering processes and solutions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to complex systems.
- Strong skills in Electrical Design, including creating schematics, layouts, and specifications for components and systems.
- Experience with Power Distribution and Power Systems, including analysis, protection, and reliability considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience working in harsh or mission-critical environments (e.g., aerospace, marine, industrial) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software tools and simulation packages.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
