Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented CMM Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and quality of manufactured parts through precise dimensional inspections using CMM equipment and other precision measuring instruments. Your work will play a critical role in maintaining quality standards and supporting complex manufacturing projects.
Duties
- Operate and program CMM equipment to perform in process, first, and final article inspections.
- Use secondary methods of QC to verify deviations if applicable.
- Document inspection results and work closely with project teams to resolve non-conformances.
- Report and tag any gauges that need repairing, or calibers that need to be recalibrated.
- Interpret engineering drawings, to verify parts are in spec.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Hands on experience with CMMs and precision measuring instruments.
- Skilled with manual inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Experience in CNC manufacturing environments preferred.
