The Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, three-doctor practice in Rifle, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for both registered and experienced unregistered technicians who are passionate about high-quality patient care and want to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do
- Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Draw vaccines, collect lab samples, run diagnostic tests, and perform radiographs with accuracy and care.
- Place IV catheters, administer medications and fluids, and monitor anesthesia under veterinary supervision.
- Support dental procedures including scaling and polishing, and assist with surgical preparation and patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensure treatment areas are clean and organized, and provide compassionate care to patients and their owners.
- Work collaboratively with a skilled team to keep the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
- Veterinary technician experience required; RVT/CVT/LVT credential is a plus but not required.
- Solid technical skills and a desire to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a team-focused mindset.
- A compassionate and professional approach to both patients and clients.
- Pay Range: $16–$21 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
