- Full-time position (minimum 30 hours/week) with rotating Saturdays

- Provide compassionate care for our patients including routine care, critical care, and end of life care
- Assist with animal restraint and handling during exams, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for both animals and staff.
- Assist with urgent care cases, hospitalization, and surgical procedures.
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples for both in-house use and referral laboratory use.
- Perform IV catheter placement and medication administration
- Assist with radiographs, ultrasound, anesthesia, general surgery, dental surgery, and dental radiographs
- Maintain timely and thorough medical record keeping
- Educate and partner with clients to help them make the best decisions for their pets.
- Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques in treatment areas, surgical suites to uphold infection control standards.
- Help manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering client inquiries, and processing patient records efficiently.
- Prior veterinary clinic experience (of at least 1 year) required.
- Registered Veterinary Technician and/or Veterinary Assistant certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and with others in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to reach, bend at the knees and stand for long periods of time while working in a busy environment.
