QUALIFCATIONS
- 2 years working as a veterinary technician.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Must have experience with dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and surgical anesthesia.
- Effectively use low stress patient handling techniques and safely control aggressive animals.
- Superior blood collection and IV catheter placement skills.
- Excellent communication skills with doctors, clients and team members.
- Detailed oriented person that can make good decisions, respond quickly.
- Must have basic computer knowledge 60-80 WPM, and scanning records. Avimark a plus!
- Pass background screen and drug test.
- Must be able to lift up 40 pounds and assist in lifting over 60 pounds.
