In this role, you'll partner closely with Project Managers to help ensure projects are set up, managed, billed, and closed efficiently throughout their entire lifecycle. - Partner with Project Managers to establish new projects in Deltek Vantagepoint ensuring project setup aligns with contract requirements, billing terms, and revenue recognition methods.
- Enter project budgets and upload all required documentation during project setup.
- Maintain project records throughout the project lifecycle, including processing change orders and additional task authorizations.
- Review and analyze project reports to identify and resolve revenue generation errors and maintain project data integrity.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor and manage unbilled project activity.
- Process labor adjustments as needed to maintain accurate project financials.
- Support project closeout activities, ensuring all transactions are completed and projects are properly finalized.
- Prepare monthly invoices for Project Manager review and approval while ensuring compliance with client billing requirements.
- Finalize and distribute invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with accounts receivable reviews and collection efforts to support healthy project cash flow.
- Provide additional accounting and project support as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with strong overall computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate confidently across all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset, with the ability to build positive working relationships with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs and processes.

- Experience working in project accounting, professional services, engineering, architecture, or consulting environments.
- Experience with Deltek Vision or similar project-based accounting software.
