Performs assignments designed to develop professional engineering work, knowledge, and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related and moderate engineering tasks. Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
Supervisor screens assignments for unusual or difficult problems and selects techniques and procedures to be applied on non-routine work. Receives close supervision on new aspects of assignments.
May not exceed budgeted hours on task, change the scope of work or deviate from any part of the contractual document without approval of Project Manager or Task Leader.
Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.

- Bachelor's degree within an engineering
- Completion of the EIT exam is strongly preferred; Professional Registration is desired after 4 years of experience.

- Must be able to communicate with a variety of individuals; must be able to follow verbal and written instructions/directions and respond to inquiries.
