Cultivation Assistant Managers support the Cultivation Manager in overseeing daily cannabis cultivation operations and facility maintenance. This role ensures standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed, regulatory compliance is maintained, and that both cultivation and facility upkeep run smoothly. The position is hands-on, requiring active supervision of staff and regular engagement with the physical environment of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise cultivation staff and provide coaching, counseling, and corrective action as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of daily and weekly checklists for both cultivation and building maintenance.
- Monitor grow room environments and facility systems, including Priva, Biotherm, and Cravo.
- Perform and oversee cultivation tasks: germinating, cloning, transplanting, soil mixing, feeding, cropping, and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate plant inventory and coordinate plant tracking efforts.
- Conduct training for new and existing employees, ensuring proper technique and adherence to SOPs.
- Ensure facility cleanliness and compliance with GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Practices).
- Monitor and perform building maintenance duties, including general repairs, HVAC systems, and other infrastructure needs.
- Identify and address operational issues quickly to avoid downtime.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cannabis cultivation and facility operations preferred.
- Ability to problem-solve and manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead by example.
