The A&E Project Manager will oversee and coordinate various activities within the Architecture and Engineering and Site Acquisition departments of the company. This role involves managing project timelines, ensuring quality control, liaising with clients and team members, and providing training and guidance to junior staff. The Project Manager will ensure that all projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Communication and Coordination:
- Email Management: Check and respond to emails daily to stay updated on ongoing projects and communications.
- Client Meetings: Conduct weekly meetings with clients every Monday to discuss project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Team Coordination: Manage schedules and workloads, noting that A&E Leads finishes at 4 PM
Project Control
- Site Walks: Attend A&E site walks, measure and verify site conditions, and report findings with detailed site sketches and photos.
Project Management
- Task Management: Use QuickBase to accept and manage tasks, ensuring all project activities are tracked and completed on time.
- Scoping: Collaborate with A&E lead and the team to scope projects. Ensure all team members are involved and understand the process.
- Workload Management: Collaborate with Project Coordinator(s) to request purchase orders (POs) and manage workload.
Quality Assurance and Control
- QA/QC Review: Review redlined PDF drawings for quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), ensuring all revisions are accurate and up to standard.
- Final Drafting and QC: Oversee the final drafting process, including the application of final stamps and conducting the final quality check.
- LOS Projects: Assist Drone Pilot with Line of Sight (LOS) projects, review LOS for all of Drone Pilot’s projects, conduct final quality checks, and send deliverables to Client.
Technical and Drafting Support
- Drafting: Perform minimal drafting tasks when the drafting team is unavailable. Coordinate with the A&E Lead for assistance.
- Site Research: Conduct site walks and research the history of sites to gather necessary information for project planning and execution.
Training and Development
- Staff Training: Set training goals for A&E Leads to ensure continuous professional development under your guidance.
- Hands-on Training: Take Project Designer on site walks to provide hands-on training and practical experience.
Team and Resource Management
- Resource Check: Check with the A&E Leads for availability and coordinate with A&E Leads for task distribution.
- Support Team: If no tasks are currently available, proactively reach out to other A&E Project Managers to identify and assist with additional tasks, ensuring continuous productivity and optimal resource utilization.
Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Site Acquisition Support: Collaborate closely with the site acquisition department, providing consultation and support to ensure seamless integration and success of site acquisition efforts.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of project management experience in telecommunications, wireless engineering, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., QuickBase) and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and standards.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Over 7 years of project management experience, with a significant portion in the telecommunications industry.
- Experience leading large-scale projects and managing cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in drafting software and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with telecommunications site development processes and standards.
- Additional relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Reporting:
- The A&E Project Manager will report to the A&E Program Manager.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
