As we scale, we’re looking for an experienced HR Manager who thrives in recruiting but is also excited to build and support the foundation of our people operations.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll own recruiting across all departments, from finding the right person to making sure they’re excited to join. But you won’t stop there: you’ll also help shape the employee experience at nuuds by supporting HR processes, policies, and culture.
Recruiting (Primary Focus):
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for roles across our brand, marketing, ops, and customer experience teams
- Collaborate with hiring managers to forecast hiring needs and create role descriptions that reflect our tone and mission
- Build proactive pipelines of high-quality candidates through sourcing, networking, and partnerships
- Own the candidate experience, from initial outreach through to the offer stage, with speed and thoughtfulness
- Identify and implement tools, systems, and best practices to help us hire smarter and faster
HR & People Ops:
- Support onboarding and off-boarding to ensure smooth, brand-aligned experiences
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and help manage HR documentation and processes
- Be a go-to for team questions around policies, PTO, benefits, and general employee support
- Partner with leadership on performance feedback, development planning, and team culture initiatives
- Help us maintain a people-first culture as we scale
Who You Are:
- 4-6 years of experience in recruiting and HR, with a strong track record of hiring great people
- You’ve worked in a fast-paced or startup environment and know how to balance strategy with execution
- Great communicator, detail-oriented, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Understand HR basics: compliance, benefits, employee relations – but your real superpower is knowing how to find and attract talent
- Passionate about building teams and shaping culture from the inside out
