Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cook to prepare and serve lunch and dinner for our 80 residents. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary knowledge, excellent knife skills, and a passion for food preparation. You will be responsible for creating daily menu items that are not only nutritious but also enjoyable for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for lunch and dinner, ensuring high quality and presentation.
• Create daily menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and food prep area.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate special dietary requests.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a similar setting (assisted living, healthcare, or large-scale food service).
• Strong culinary knowledge and skills, including knife skills and food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
