Regional Support Dietitian

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our dynamic clinical nutrition team, providing coverage and support across a range of healthcare settings including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and community-based group homes (CP/ID/DD).

This position plays a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing resident outcomes, and supporting foodservice excellence across multiple client sites.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and care planning per regulatory standards

• Document accurately and timely in the medical record (charting) system

• Complete kitchen sanitation and service audits

• Provide in-service training to foodservice and nursing staff

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident quality of care

• Serve as a key resource during annual state surveys

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) efforts

What We're Looking For

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required

• Licensure in NY and NJ (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or group home nutrition preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills

• Willingness to travel regularly across assigned regions

• Flexibility for occasional overnight stays, especially during survey season or special project support

Schedule

• Full-time, salaried
