Full-Time Cook

As the Professional Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals for our residents during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will lead the kitchen team, ensuring that every dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, while maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious and delicious meals for residents, adhering to dietary guidelines and preferences.
• Lead kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and service meet our high standards of excellence.
• Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and resident feedback.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless dining experiences for residents.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working in a professional, healthcare, kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for preparing high-quality food.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition, particularly for older adults.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
