- Work 2nd shift 2PM - 10:30PM Monday through Friday
- Adhere to all Quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes
- Perform routine QC testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
- Report quality and process abnormalities to manager and lead investigations as needed
- Perform all quality control and quality assurance tests and procedures in a precise, accurate and efficient manner, and follows safety standards and protocols with regards to safe handling of materials
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including hands-on instrument troubleshooting & repair
- Maintain QC logbooks, compile and interpret data
- Develop and author SOPs
- Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
- Maintain exemplary laboratory hygiene in terms of safety and SHE compliance
- Act as a leader and example for the company's Behavioral Standards, which focus on Safety, Integrity, Inclusion, Performance, Community, and Innovation
- Perform other duties as required
- Associate degree in chemistry or a related major. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Soil Science, Agronomy, Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred
- Available for 2nd shift 2PM - 10:30PM Monday through Friday
- 2 years of experience in a laboratory; equivalent degree may be considered in lieu of lab experience
- Knowledge of Chemistry and Mathematics
- Extensive experience with MS Office. Experience with SAP QM Modules, LIMs is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, and management
- Ability to work independently
