Graphic Designer

Nutrex Research is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who is detail-oriented, a team player, and has the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plans, designs, edits and produces a wide range of specialized graphics and/or illustrative material, product labels and packaging.
• Assists the Creative Director and Marketing Team with graphical assets and coordinates with the operations team on the label and product packaging production process; develops appropriate production media, label and product packaging materials; inspects proofs for accuracy and adherence to appropriate production standards.
• Creating content for social media platforms - ranging from Instagram, TikTok & Facebook.
• May create and produce digital graphics for social media, e-mail campaigns, print ads, posters and collect files to send to printer and then work with them creating product dielines, # of colors, monitor registration and print quality.
• Work with various departments throughout the organization to provide graphic support for projects as requested, while helping to manage project timelines, completion and final delivery.
• Collaborate with Operations for UPC barcode #, R&D for Nutritional Information, and Regulator for compliancy information.
• Provides technical advice and guidance and serves as liaison with label and product packaging production.
• Assist with maintaining brand vendor portal website with label assets and product images.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related tasks as assigned.
• Ensures creative assets adhere to brand guidelines and voice

Qualifications

• Full-time Graphic Design position on-site at Nutrex Headquarters (Oviedo, FL)
• Very proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
• Knowledge in Figma is preferred
• Professional experience designing labels and product packaging with strong knowledge of the printing process including CMYK, spot colors, white underlayment, raised varnishes, etc.
• Must be a proactive and enthusiastic team member.
• Strong portfolio with a minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design that includes commercial printing and product packing examples.
• The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, a team player, and has the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Outstanding graphic design principles of layout, typography and composition are a must.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing and animation is a plus.
• Has an eye for color & experience in color-correction & color matching.
• Understanding of label materials and printing techniques.
• Candidates must provide a direct link to demo reel or online portfolio to be considered.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design is preferred.
• Adobe Creative Suite: 3 years (Preferred)
