Job Overview

We are seeking a highly efficient, motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring products are packed according to manufacturing procedures and quality standards
• Interpret production documents and work instructions accurately to assemble, package, and label products correctly
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, while adhering to safety protocols in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA standards
• Use hand tools and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills to resolve minor mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Perform routine inspections of packaging lines and materials handling equipment, including forklifts and other material transport tools, maintaining a safe work environment
• Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) meticulously to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and safety standards in production
• Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including production documentation interpretation and shift reports

Experience

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with packaging processes, industrial equipment troubleshooting, and materials handling is advantageous
• Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities during packing operations
• Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and safety protocol adherence within a manufacturing setting is desirable
• Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment will support success in this role
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining focus on safety standards in production
