Senior Move Packer & Mover
Hybrid Field Role · Part-Time · Scottsdale / Mesa / Greater Phoenix, AZ
$22–$28/hr tips · paid as an employee · flexible daytime hours, mostly weekdays · 4–8 hrs per job
Genie is Arizona's first franchise for gentle, senior-sensitive moves — helping older adults transition from home to retirement or assisted living with dignity and care. We're hiring a Hybrid Packer & Mover to do both sides: pack and prep the home, then load, transport, and resettle belongings in the new community.
What You'll Do
- Pack homes with care — dishes, glassware, heirlooms, décor; label and inventory boxes.
- Sort move / donate / discard, clear expired food, and coordinate donation pickups.
- Photograph pre-existing damage; leave spaces realtor-ready.
- Wrap and pad furniture; disassemble and reassemble beds, tables, and basic electronics.
- Load and unload the trailer under the Team Lead; move safely through elevators, stairs, and tight spaces.
- Set up the new suite so it feels like home from day one — always calm and patient with clients.
What You Bring
- A genuine heart for helping seniors — patient, kind, reliable, and professional.
- Fit to lift 30–40 lbs while packing and up to 75 lbs on move day (heavier as a team lift).
- Valid AZ driver's license and a clean background check.
- Comfort using a smartphone for photos/inventory and basic tools for furniture.
- Moving, caregiving, hospitality, or First Aid experience is a plus, not required.
