This is a full-time hybrid role for a Registered Dietitian based in Palm Bay, FL, allowing for a blend of on-site and work-from-home flexibility. Responsibilities include assessing the nutritional needs of residents, creating individualized care plans, monitoring and documenting progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role involves providing guidance on dietary modifications, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and delivering nutrition education to residents and staff. Additionally, the position requires maintaining professional knowledge and participating in ongoing training opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, nutritional assessments, and individualized care plan development
- Proficiency in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive resident care
- Excellent communication, education, and counseling skills for residents, families, and staff
- Up-to-date knowledge of dietary regulations, guidelines, and long-term care nutrition standards
- Experience with electronic health records and documentation processes
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Florida
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field required
