About the Role
Nutra19 is seeking a hands-on Working Plant Supervisor to lead daily production and warehouse operations at our Wood Dale facility.
This is a startup manufacturing environment. Systems, structure, and flow are actively being built, and this role will play a key part in shaping them.
This is not a desk-based management role. The majority of your time will be spent on the production floor:
- Blending batches
- Running and troubleshooting the fill line
- Keeping production moving
- Supporting the team wherever needed
We are looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, steps in to solve problems, and leads through action.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a growing operation and help build how the plant runs day-to-day. The right candidate will have a strong voice in shaping processes, improving flow, and establishing structure as we scale.
As the operation grows, this role has the potential to expand into broader operational leadership. What Success Looks Like
- Production runs consistently with minimal downtime
- Materials are staged and flow efficiently through the process
- The team is aligned, accountable, and improving
- Issues are identified early and resolved quickly
- The operation becomes more structured, efficient, and scalable over time—and you play a key role in building that foundation
Key Responsibilities
- Personally blend liquid batches according to formulas and SOPs
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the liquid fill line
- Step in to resolve equipment or process issues in real time
- Supervise daily production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities
- Coordinate material staging and production flow
- Maintain GMP, safety, and sanitation standards
- Build structure in a developing operation (organization, accountability, process flow)
- Train, coach, and develop production and warehouse staff
- Maintain accurate inventory and support cycle counts
- Partner with Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain to maintain compliance and efficiency

- Experience leading or supervising production or warehouse teams (formal or informal)

- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
- High school diploma or GED
- English proficiency
