Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and experience with accounting software to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation on a regular basis
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation and business entity accounting tasks
- Utilize Quick Books (SOS Inventory a BIG PLUS) for financial transactions
- Support the finance team with clerical duties as needed
- Handle Payroll (Paychex) and Sales Tax reporting
Skills
- Proficiency in financial concepts and accounting principles
- Experience with Quick Books or other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes
- Ability to handle journal entries and general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with corporate accounting practices
- Previous experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
