We are looking for someone to join our team as a bookkeeper with 3-5 years of recent bookkeeping experience. For this position, the pursuit of the Quickbooks Certified Bookkeeper, if not already obtained, is strongly encouraged, and expected. This is an in-office full-time position.
Responsibilities:
· Performs inputting, bank and credit card reconciliations and posting journal entries for clients.
· Analyzes client cash flows.
· Makes adjusting journal entries.
· Prepares quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
· Prepares monthly and quarterly sales tax filings.
· Prepares for compliance audits.
· Works on special and unique projects, as required.
Qualifications:
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business.
· 3-5 years in bookkeeping.
· Experienced working with QuickBooks (desktop and online)
· Experience in filing payroll and sales tax returns.
· Experience with business or personal tax filings a plus.
· Excellent at time management and organization.
· Able to produce high quality work in a timely manner.
· Have the utmost attention to detail and client service.
· Professional, energetic, and flexible.
· Very strong communication skills and comfortable communicating with clients.
