Position Summary:
The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day operations for a dynamic office of approximately 35 to 40 people in Greenville, SC. The primary objective of this role is to effectively, lead, develop and staff such that they meet and exceed office goals and targets. This includes supervising administrative functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting human resources processes such as recruiting, onboarding, and performance management. This position works closely with all department supervisors to ensure teams are working effectively, improve overall staff retention, provide support for improving overall staff performance and job satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
1. The general administration of the office, including (but not limited to) the actual opening and closing/securing of the premises, supervising daily attendance and activities of the employees, approving employee’s ecteronic time/attendance, addressing personnel issues arising on the premises, and other required administrative functions needed to comply with legal, corporate and operational requirements.
2. Hiring and Training: Prepare and post job adverts, screen applicants, arrange interviews, participate in selection process, track applicants, administer pre-employment testing and onboarding training.
3. Management of Staff: Responsible for the day-to day management of department managers/supervisors and their direct reports.
4. Preparing regular staff reviews and performance staff review meetings.
5. Manage sensitive and confidential matters including employee relations, organization changes, and protects the security of information, data and file
6. Respond to and processes various requests from managers, employees and others
7. Exercise good judgement when dealing with personnel issues and brings them to management teams’ attention
8. Enforcing all corporate policies and procedures
Minimum Job Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
*Experience: Minimum of 5 plus years progressive experience in a business or consulting environment
