We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. Duties
As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for the following:
- Take individuals out in community while encouraging participation in social activities.
- Engaging with clients in meaningful ways that promote independence and dignity.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of individuals under your care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Background in home health care, hospice care, or long-term care settings.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must be able to pass background check, drug test and have clean driving record
- Must have and be able to utilize your own reliable transportation.
